ACCA Kuwait Country Topper FM & PM Topper ACCA Programme

B.Com, Symbiosis Pune | Kuwait Country Topper in FM & PM

Most success stories look impressive at the finish line, but they usually begin with a small, uncertain first step. For Mufaddal I. Bohara, that step started in school in Kuwait when he joined ACCA classes out of curiosity -- never imagining it would lead him to become the Kuwait Country Topper in Financial Management.

In this interview, he shares how he balanced college with ACCA, tackled real preparation challenges, and stayed consistent with structured guidance from QuintEdge -- revealing the exact study system and approach that helped turn his effort into results others can learn from.

Tell us about your background and how your ACCA journey is going.

I was born and raised in Kuwait, where I completed my schooling. I actually began ACCA classes through my school itself, as I recognised early on that ACCA is a very practical, career-oriented qualification. Currently, I am pursuing my B.Com at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce in Pune while continuing my ACCA preparation. As subjects became more advanced, I sought structured guidance from QuintEdge, and that support helped me achieve rank holder status.

What made you decide to pursue ACCA?

After exploring ACCA's global value online, I recognised how effective it is at building real finance and accounting skills. The qualification enables stable careers not just in the UAE but across major finance hubs worldwide. That flexibility for international work and professional growth as a global practitioner really appealed to me. It felt like the right investment in my future.

What specific preparation challenges did you face while studying for ACCA papers?

The biggest challenge was managing two ACCA papers simultaneously while also keeping up with college studies. Beyond the time management aspect, I struggled with switching between subjects without mixing up concepts. Finding focused study hours during packed college days was tough, and maintaining consistency through repeated revisions was the hardest part. Keeping that momentum going day after day required real discipline.

How did QuintEdge's coaching support your preparation and help you improve your performance?

The coaching gave me clarity through well-structured notes that enabled faster, more effective revision. Krupang Sir's teaching style stood out — he made difficult topics comprehensible through simple, logical explanations. That combination of clear notes and excellent teaching reduced my confusion significantly and gave me more time for practice, which directly improved my results.

Can you share a practical ACCA study strategy that students can realistically follow?

I followed a four-phase approach:

  1. Concept Building: Read each chapter three to four times until the material felt natural and intuitive.
  2. Practice Integration: Solve questions from BPP and Kaplan practice kits immediately after completing each chapter.
  3. Weekly Reinforcement: Revisit weak topics every week and redo questions I had previously gotten wrong.
  4. Final Revision: In the last phase, focus exclusively on revision and practice without introducing any new material.

The key was not a shortcut or trick. The real difference came from repetition, consistency, and sticking to the plan.

What result did this preparation approach lead to?

I secured Kuwait Country Topper status in both Financial Management and Performance Management. It proved to me that a disciplined system works, even when you are balancing college and professional exams at the same time.

What advice would you give to students starting their ACCA journey today?

Stay consistent with your studies. You do not need complicated strategies or shortcuts. If you study regularly, revise properly, and practice enough questions, you will score well. Consistency is what actually creates results.
